Folks, is a fantastic kettle! Solid enamel, sturdy handle and whistle, and the gradient Sea Salt finish is flawless. It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! My first kettle is 20 years old and I only bought a new one because I changed my kitchen color scheme. Over the years that kettle heated water on gas, electric, and wood stoves with never a problem . Well worth the money, and with all the color options there’s something for everyone’s taste. This is a purchase you won’t regret!. Tracy Marie. Rapid River, MI. Wed Apr 29 2026

The Viking Stainless Steel 2.6 Quart Whistling Tea Kettles feature a 3-Ply base for even heat distribution that results in faster boiling. The elegant look includes a cast stainless steel handle that is riveted onto the pot for a lifetime of security and a comfortable grip while pouring and filling. The Viking Kettle is the perfect stove top accent for any kitchen and works on all stovetops, including induction. Featuring a classic design, these tea kettles bring a timeless look to any stovetop. The kettle body and spout are built with 18/8 stainless steel that is non-reactive and easy to maintain. Because the kettle is surgical grade stainless steel, it won’t impart metallic flavor into your water so you can enjoy the full-bodied flavor of your coffee, tea, instant soups and more. A thick aluminum core embedded in the stainless steel base heats evenly, allowing water to reach the boiling point more quickly than traditional kettles. The magnetic stainless steel base works on all cooktops, including induction. The Viking kettles include a glass lid that offers visibility into the heating progress for anyone that wants to debate whether or not a watched pot boils faster. Being able to see the progress of the water as it nears a boil also allows you to turn off the heat when you want to enjoy beverage that benefits from a temperature that is just off-a-boil. The levered one-touch spout includes a heat-resistant silicone cover and can be open and closed with a thumb or single finger. The spout's melodic whistle alerts you to when your water is ready to serve. Depending on how much water is in the kettle and how long it’s been boiling, heat may transfer to the handle, especially with gas stoves. Please be sure the lid is tightly seated in place before heating. Gas stoves heat more of the kettle itself, allowing the heat to travel through the body of the kettle into the handle much quicker, eventually becoming too warm to grip without protection. We always recommend using a hot pad or other protection when lifting a hot kettle until you know how it responds on your particular stovetop. This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. The kettle comes with a cover for the handle-you will appreciate it…the handle gets very hot.. Darcy. Chico, CA. Mon Aug 31 2026

The peak 2-quart teakettle combines classic stainless steel style with superior heat retention for faster boiling. Use the teakettle to make up to two quarts of hot water for beverages or cooking, listening out for the whistle which lets you know when the water is boiling.

I’m very happy with this Cuisinart tea kettle. It works well, heats up quickly, and feels very well made. I especially appreciate the quality of the construction—there aren’t any flimsy parts that feel like they could melt or deteriorate with regular use, which is an issue I’ve experienced with another high-end tea kettle. The white finish also looks beautiful in my kitchen and fits in perfectly with the overall design. It’s both functional and attractive, and I’m very pleased with this purchase!. Anonymous. Central to Chantal’s New Scandinavian Collection is the 1.4 qt Sven teakettle. Clean lines and natural wood help create a design that is distinctly Northern European. The wood stays cool to the touch when boiling water and the light color beautifully accents the enamel finish of the teakettle’s body. Perfect for all cooktops, including magnetic induction.

I purchased the gray version of this tea kettle over five years ago. I was hesitant about spending so much on a tea kettle, but it’s attractive, has a significant whistle and does the job. The 9091 kettle has a melodic whistle made of brass in a shape that has never been seen before and consists of two small vents in which the tuners that reproduce the notes mi and si are inserted. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood remembrance, the poetic sound of boats' sirens at the River Rhine: This is because the melody that accompanies the vapor outlet must be pleasant and not anxious like the whistle of boilers. This induction kettle is a polysensory object that will not interrupt an enjoyable break with a whistle but with a captivating melody.

This is a very beautiful looking kettle, except for the bottom connection to the base should have been a different material Because one mistake with the flame to high it started melting. Can that be correct. Thank you…. Roxanne. Brooklyn, NY. Wed Apr 05 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really didn’t think I’d be in love with a tea kettle but here we are. This Viking Stainless Steel kettle is STUNNING. The mirror of it is so unbelievably chic that I’m leaving it out on my stove as a design accent piece. The contrast and modern look of the black handle is also a gorgeous touch. Now, for the functionality: this fits a lot. Without it looking bulky at all. You can easily make enough tea for an entire dinner with this pot. Also, it boils water so quickly. It is also so sturdy and heavy (in a good way!) that you know you have a quality item. It is Viking after all! And I love that it has the signature Viking logo visible, but also subtle on the back.
