This is the second type of privacy static window film that we have recently purchased. The first type was extremely easy to use; however, although this had the same directions, it was much more difficult to adhere to the window. It took us quite a while to work all of the bubbles out and it had a very strong vinyl smell that the other type did not have. I had to put mine on sideways as I couldn’t get 3 vertical panels without buying another roll. It’s actually 23.6”W x 35.4” H. I followed the instructions using soapy water & it worked perfectly. My condo has french doors in the living room and one bedroom. Even with blinds, the east morning sun heats up the entire unit, taking it all day to cool down. I have been able to lower my thermostat an average of about 2-3 degrees during the day since applying the film and I no longer have to keep the blinds closed tight all day. Surprisingly, it didnt make my room seem dark. The photo above shows the doors with film on the right side only and you can see it doesnt darken the room much.
