A beautiful addition to our dining room. The discs have an opaque sheen to them. I was curious as some reviews mentioned they were green. Yes, when the lights are on the lamp tiles read green. This is an absolute show piece and I love it!! However the whole packaging and construction does feel like something cheap from China… two balls each are packed together in wrap - not a sturdy foam encasing like other brands. This means many prices will be broken. While they send you extras, you will still be cleaning up tiny pieces of broken glass for days. The the ceiling attachment doesn’t fit a north Mercian electoral box so you have to buy a new piece. The cover doesn’t scare tight enough to stay up on ours. This is another one of those things that I loved when I saw it and then saw it again...and again. So I finally got it! So happy with it. It is absolutely perfect in the room I got it for. Do note that the lamp comes with plenty of cord and chain to hang it from a higher ceiling. I have a standard height ceiling in the room pictured and installed the lamp by using just the chain lock connector that came with the supplied chain. It worked beautifully, with the lamp not hanging too low in the room for my preference when installed this way. The metal finish on this is very nice as are all of the glass pieces. Installation was pretty straightforward, with the part that took the longest being attaching the glass pieces to the frame. This light is absolutely stunning. It looks extremely high quality. This is the most money I have spent on lighting to date and its totally worth it. We purchased the 24 light for our entry. It is hung with the 20 chain. For perspective, we replaced a 20 year old pile rubbed bronze fixture that was 18 in diameter. I had concerns the new light may over power the space but the scale worked out beautifully in the end. The only concern was the instructions. We did not end up hanging this fixture for multiple reasons, yet I would say the fixture was substantial, the glass was pretty and thick, however the finish appears to be spray painted on, giving it a two-toned appearance where not completely sprayed, mostly on the chain and the areas to hook the glass onto..
