This bed is cute. It does everything that we need to do. It was simple to put together. It’s got a simple look to it. My only concern is that it advertises an 8 inch mattress. It is definitely not able to fit an 8 inch mattress. We ended up buying 6 inch mattresses and my husband had to build extended legs for it to come off the ground enough to be able to slide the bottom in and out even still I’m not able to slide the bottom in and out. I have to wait for my husband to do it for me. I would recommend going with a five or a 4 inch mattress unless you don’t mind possibly not being able to slide out the bottom. This take time to put together! You will need a drill to drill in each piece of wood. The fabric is soft and collects dog hair easily. I used sharp scissors to open and nicked the fabric a bit. Did a lot of research on daybeds, and this one checked off a lot of what I needed. This one can hold a good amount of weight vs. others, plus it takes 8in matress vs. 5 or 6. It also pops all the way up so it can be used as a split king. I scanned lots of reviews on others looking for one that I could use a 10in matress since adults would be using at times. I took a chance off others reviews and went with a 10in mattress, and it paid off. This bed works great with the 10in mattresses. I have just enough clearance, and the bed pulls out easily. We dont have carpet, so I dont know how that would play a role with pull out. Have not used as a split king yet but did by a bridge and velcro straps to secure the beds together just in case. Could see the weld marks but feels sturdy and comfortable and was easy to set up. Would have loved if it had the auto pop up but can be set up by one with just a little work.. Anonymous. Indiana.
