The room is currently unusable. As a long-standing Wayfair customer, I have never experienced anything like this. Returning it would also be a tremendous hassle because I paid for professional assembly and would now need it disassembled and package item. I truly regret this purchase. Great sturdy bed exactly as shown in the picture!!! Assembly was fairly easy actually didn’t need two people to put together. We bought this daybed for our Airbnb and are very happy with it. As mentioned in other reviews, you need to buy a thicker mattress or else there is a gap between the mattress and headboard.
