This breathtaking catrina sculpture is the original creation of Luis Morales in Mexico. The origin of the catrina is in artist José Guadalupe Posada's satirical etchings of "La Calavera Catrina" in 1910, which mocked the pretensions and aspirations of Mexican high society. Crafted from ceramic, the skeletal figure is dressed to the nines, including a feathered Quetzalcóatl boa draped around her neck. Earrings and an elaborate picture hat complete her ensemble.

This is the creepiest yet most interesting at the same time sculpture. For the people that love Halloween or simply find weird and unique things beautiful this one is for you guys. This skeleton skull is your typical skull, I personally find it fascinating just because it has all its teeth in. This skeleton is cast using the ancient old "lost wax method" stained in a resin off-white or gray patina. 100% Handmade and 100% bronze.
