Surprisingly, the bed almost looks like a full-size bed because of how spacious the room is. If you have a large bedroom and have been debating whether to upgrade to a king-size bed, consider this your sign to do it! Assembly was the only challenging part. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. Love this bed! I’m very happy with the shape, fabric, and color. I specifically wanted a bed with both a footboard and a tall headboard, and this checked all the boxes for me. It feels sturdy and well made, and the white glove delivery service was excellent. One thing I’d recommend to future buyers is to pay close attention to the height measurements. The headboard is VERY tall and makes a big visual statement, which I love, but it also takes up a lot of visual space in the room. Initially, my mattress setup felt lower to the ground than expected because I forgot to account for the fact that my previous mattress and box spring had been sitting on an A-frame foundation. Because of that, there was much more headboard visible above me than I anticipated. I was able to easily fix the issue by adding a 4-inch mattress topper/pad, which made a huge difference in the proportions and overall feel. OMG I’m obsessed. I have a 14 inch Queen mattress and I was worried it would cover the headboard with pillows placed. It didn’t. Still plenty of headboard seen. I bought the Natural color. It’s so pretty and clean looking. It was more grey than beige, but it ended up looking great. No regrets. Looks way more expensive than it was.
