Building this daybed with trundle lasted a few hours. Kids kept interrupting but like another review mentioned, the slats aren’t marked so it was too late to make corrections after screwing them to the boards. Other than no markings, it went well with just me putting it together, unlike the suggested 2 people. Therefore, 4 stars. One star off for no markings on the tools, screws, and slats.. Marcy. I am disappointed that photo on line does not show final set up closed. I do not like the space between bed and trundle and the unsightly wood blocks that do nothing at all. trundle needs a 4” mattress and 8” top. I will keep the bed as it’s impossible to return easily.
