This is a very nice set of outdoor benches. They are well made, sturdy and the wood is beautiful. However, I should have read the product overview before purchasing. That's why I only gave a 4-star rating. It recommends reapplying oil regularly to preserve the color and finish. It says to avoid rain exposure, etc. I assumed since it advertises as "outdoor bench" that it would have been bettered suited for the outdoors. My mistake. The cushion cover is water‑repellent. For long‑term durability, we recommend bringing cushions indoors during heavy rain or winter. The frames can stay out. Q: Is assembly difficult? I’m not handy. A: You’ll be fine. Most people finish in about 30 minutes. The manual is clear, and all tools are included. No drilling. Attach the legs, put on the cushions – done.

This is one beautiful piece of furniture. It’s high quality and as exactly as described…. I love the modern farmhouse look and this worked perfectly in our space. I have seen a couple of reviews about the color. This is true to the image posted but will add that the lighting can also cause variations in light from cool to warm. I love both!! My husband and I downsized so the extra storage was a bonus. I have six sets of king size sheets and 4 throws, two small pillows and space for a little more. The white cushion is very attractive I did however add some scotch guard to help keep dust and stains at stray. I think a damp white cloth could be used. It’s comfortable to sit on and the width and height are perfect for both my husband and I. I am 5’8 and he is 6’2 so this was another thing that attracted us to this bench. It has some weight to it which we prefer. Assembly was a breeze due to only having to add the feet..
