I bought an identical sectional from a competitor several years ago. Although I loved it, the chenille fabric easily snagged and started coming apart at the seams within a couple months. Between the splitting fabric and sinking stuffing after the support straps broke on the bottom, it had to be replaced within just four years. I missed the comfort and style of the original and decided to try purchasing more expensive version that seemed to be better quality. The fabric of this one is considerably more resilient, and there have been no issues during the first eight months of use. The comfort is comparable to my original one. I didn’t realize this has to be assembled, but it was pretty simple. I was able to assemble it by myself, granted it took me about 1 12 hours, but I’m sure others can do it faster. It’s much firmer than I expected BUT it is super soft and very comfortable! One question I had before purchasing was if it’s two separate pieces — it is not. It’s one piece so there isn’t a possibility of them sliding apart. Another question was if there is enough back support. I think so.
