The bed is sturdy, and the fabric is good quality, this is the Shantung Pearl. The corners do not meet as perfectly as I would like, perhaps additional bolts at the top and bottom would help. The man who assembled it was nice and he did a good job with assembly. I love love love my bed! The gold detail is my favorite part. The bed is extremely sturdy! It was very easy to put together but it did take my husband and his buddies to put it together.
