Beautiful look and color of chair! Traditional style and lines. However I think there is a flaw in the design. Others said in reviews that it was a very deep chair. The bottom cushion is very firm, almost overstuffed and the back cushion is very soft. So when you sit down, you create an opening between the top cushion and bottom cushion of at least 1-2 inches. You can touch the back wood of the chair with your fingers. My low back was not supported at all then. Tried adding a small pillow and that made it somewhat better. Very deep seat which is nice if you’re putting your feet up, but otherwise my feet did not touch the ground (5 ft 6 in). I really like the look of this chair. The retro green velvet is beautiful, and the chair looks very elegant in my living room. The color is rich and it looks just as nice in person as I hoped it would. It was also easy for my husband to put together, which was definitely a plus. I’m giving it 4 stars because while it looks great, it isn’t the most comfortable chair for sitting for a long period of time. I find that I need to put a pillow behind my back for extra support. With a pillow, it’s much more comfortable. Overall, I’m happy with the chair and would recommend it if you’re looking for something stylish and elegant.
