This bench is perfect for my needs, I wanted extra seating for a superbowl party, but didn’t want the discomfort of folding chairs. The seat is a little taller than my kitchen chairs, but wide enough for two full adults, the back feels sturdy enough that you can actually lean on it.  It is firm and not very cushioning, but I am very happy with it.  Assembly required a phillips head screwdriver in addition to the allen key that it came with. The bench is made of ash wood and rattan. Ash wood is resistant to moisture, torsion, not easy to crack, not easy to deform, strong and durable, stronger load-bearing and more stable characteristics. The rattan backrest is made of Indonesian onyx rattan, which is stronger and more durable.
