This TV console seems sturdy, has good storage, and is the perfect size. Yes, it is a laminate over particle board, but the finish looks nice. I think it’s a good value for the price. It does take a little while to assemble, but it wasn’t bad. My advice to anyone else is to make sure you put a level on it and use your leg adjusters to get it perfectly level before you put the back on to make sure you build it square. That may be why I saw some reviewers saying they couldn’t get the doors quite right. I will say the handles that came with the unit were not a good color. They were practically orange, not champagne bronze-ish like I thought from the photos on the website. Love the deep rich navy color of this piece. It took me approximately 2 hours to assemble and it wasn’t too difficult to follow the directions. All the pieces were included and it was well packed. There was a slight imperfection on one of the drawers and the drawers don’t fit perfectly. That’s a little disappointing. This entertainment unit is the exact color to match my other furniture. The wood color has a deep grain in it. The thickness of the boards will hold my 65 inch TV with no problem.
