I opted to set this couch up with the L shape vs the U shape. The U shape isn’t coffee table friendly. The only thing I’ll say is the two square pieces that create the U shape they slide when you sit or lay across them. so you have to put a carpet under it to keep it in place Thats really the only negative I have to say. I’m really happy with this recliner. The color is even better in person—it has a rich tone that doesn’t fully come through in photos, which was a nice surprise. It does take a few hours for the cushions to fully fluff and settle after setup, so don’t judge it right out of the box. Once it expands, it’s super comfortable and looks much more structured. One of my favorite features is the dual remotes for dual reclining—such a convenient touch, especially if you’re sharing the space or just want more control over your comfort.
