This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. Exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with it. It sits very well, is SOOO comfy, putting the leg part down is easier than expected. I was very leery of ordering this because nothing in the description said anything about how it was put down. I have very bad knees and sometimes these reclining ends are very tough to put down. Do not buy. It is cheap and not worth the price point. and the drawers did not slide in smoothly. After being unbelievable unhappy with the item and arranging for return was horrible. We did not have the original packaging as we were not expecting to be this disappointed with item. Wayfair needed to schedule with their bparty to pick up and that was a complete inconvenient process. They’re is a lack of communication on scheduling pick up and extremely challenging to get someone on the phone to address the issue. After waiting for 20 mins on hold with 3rd party they said the pick up had been scheduled and I was notified, which I was not. I am normally very patient and understanding with the process however bc of the lack communication and Wayfair not able to give me a clear answer but only provide platitude’s I would avoid buying large dollar items from Wayfair!
