The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. Beautiful chair. The back was hard to slide on and we thought we may rip the material, but thankfully it didn’t tear. The hardware did not include the Allen wrench.
