This is a very pretty alternative to the traditional metal dog crate. It arrived in perfect condition (no chipped corners or dings, that others mentioned) and my husband had it together in less than an hour. It does have a yellowish tinge to it(not as white as the photos suggest), but we were ok with it. Our 50lb hound/shepherd mix puppy has ample space to stand and stretch out. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because, I think with a little time and boredom, she would easily be able to chew or dig her way out of this. We are using it only as a sleeping crate in our bedroom, so I am not worried about that. But I wouldn't put her in this and then leave the house. Pretty good. Holes are predrilled but only on outer edges. Be careful when screwing together because it can split very easily. It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it.
