Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. Im in love with this desk, it is super high quality and worth the money. There was only one main issues which was that it was very difficult to drill in two screws to secure the legs of the desk. We ended up having to use a drill to get them in despite the instructions stating that a drill shouldnt be required. I wasnt worried because the legs were already very secured whether I added the screws or not. I cannot emphasize how sturdy this desk is. In the manual some diagrams were unclear and drawn incorrectly. Specifically for attaching the metal tracks to the drawers. Also none of the screws and hardware were labeled despite them having labels in the manual. So you just had to match the part to the picture. Outside of that the desk and hardware is high quality and I love the product overall, it was just a bit of a puzzle at some points but nothing I couldnt figure out on my own and Im a 25 year old female XD. I like that I can use it as a corner desk or slide the cabinet under easily if I want. I wanted it to be straight along my wall (as pictured).. Anonymous. Fri May 24 2024
