I read reviews and was pretty intimidated when I started building, but everything went well. I had all of the correct parts, and I found the directions clear. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. The shelves are great for books, and the desk makes it a great creative space too. The instructions were easy to follow, but it did take a couple days to assemble by myself. This bed frame was a beast to assemble with many parts. My greatest struggle was that the holes didn’t always align and the screws easily stripped. The wood material wasn’t as solid as I’d hoped. I got it built and my daughter likes it, but I don’t expect it to last too long. The drawers aren’t on tracks and roll along the floor making them wobbly. This was perfect because so many beds with shelves like this face the opposite way. This has ample storage.
