This cabinet is amazing it solved multiple furnishing issues. We had it assembled by Wayfair/Angie's List but my husband said he thought he could have easily put it together. My son and I put this TV stand together fairly easily. It took 35 minutes and required no tools except for a Phillips head screwdriver for the anti-tip restraint. It was a little tricky getting the sides attached, but one has only to slide up from the wide part to the narrow part to lock the sides into place at the top and bottom. It was a little tricky keeping the sides open for those portions where we needed them open to connect the sections. The top is heavy and it is overall quite sturdy. The wood has a pleasant smell and the doors are a nice touch. The black wood grain is elegant and the finish is shiny. Structurally well built. Instructional pictures could be a bit bigger and some of the parts didn’t have letter stickers but overall well pleased. Daughter loves lights. It did take us 4 hours, we are older parents. You do need to be able to crawl around on the floor most of the time to assemble it. The new memory foam is just released and is still inflating so it looks weird. We went with the 10” mattress so it should come right up to the bottom of the headboard/side board. I read reviews and was pretty intimidated when I started building, but everything went well. I had all of the correct parts, and I found the directions clear. It took me a long time measuring and looking for the perfect piece to fit a small area of our house without making it look cheap or too much like a dorm. I’m so glad I chose this one!
