I'm a 67 yr. old petite woman and I just finished assembling this cabinet by myself, using only a screwdriver and it took me about 3 hours. It's very well made, instructions are easy to follow, but I did see the complaints about the difficulty with the doors, but I did not have a problem with the doors. Be aware that if your TV is 55" like in the photo, once you position it on the cabinet the TV legs will hang off either the front or back of the cabinet. Made of wood, not flimsy particle board. Assembly is easy. but reading the directions is essential. This is not a piece you can just "wing", and assembly is best with two people. Note that only the top section lights. I'm not a fan of the yellow tone bulb and hope to be able to replace the bulb with one of more white light. The doors shut tight, and the unit sits level. It looks nice, though it is a pressboard, but I will say the back panels are thicker which is nice (and not those folding sheets that usually are on back of most other pressboard shelves).
