Overall, the wall units look nice in our living room (we bought two). Each took my wife and I about two hours to assemble. Instructions were thorough, but you really need to be careful and double check every step. After we completed the assembly, we noticed that the part eight and nine (middle) shelves were installed upside down on one of the units. Also, the round stickers provided to cover the locking screws are very flimsy. They are just sticky paper that has very little surface area with which to adhere. We ended up using Elmer’s glue to keep them down. Other than the shelf inside the cabinet, none of the other shelves are adjustable. Also, I certainly would not place anything too heavy on the shelves (like lots of hardcover books) as they do not appear Capable of providing sufficient support without bending.. Tom. Bluffton, SC. Got a pair to hold board games. Yes, they are metal (but could you expect wood this thin to be strong?) and are about the right size. Easy to put together for the most part, and I had no trouble getting holes to line up, but they do tend to rock/wobble just a bit. And there is a LOT of bright brass hardware that shows on the sides. Not a huge problem for me, but something to be aware of. All in all, good for what I needed them for, for the price I paid.. Liz L.. St. Paul Mn. Sat May 23 2026
