We have bamboo floors in our condo and our refrigerator line leaked, warping a few boards. I was hoping the color would come close, but it didn’t. That said, the color is beautiful and the quality of this flooring is excellent and the grooves line up with our current gloor. We are thinking of replacing just the small kitchen area and leaving a transition line where it changes to the lighter color. There are 14 planks in the box, and each one is 40” long, so that’s quite a lot of flooring!. Debra. Reno, NV. Fri Oct 16 2026

Vinyl Plank offers affordable luxury for active households. Combining realistic designs with a 100% waterproof floor makes it the perfect option for kid and pet-friendly homes.

This floor came out amazing! My only issue is that the floor is not super sturdy like laminate would be, so if there are any gaps or uneven parts of your floor, you will feel dips. In most parts of our floor, this is not an issue but I do notice it in some spots. This just means have someone that really knows what they are doing install this floor since I know there are ways around that (I.e. install extra underlayment). The texture of it is really good and it looks very natural and expensive! Totally elevated the look of our basement. The wall color is Benjamin Moore Bennington grey if anyone is wondering. We picked this paint specifically to go with the floor.. Anonymous. Bloomingdale, IL. Fri Dec 22 2023

The Natural Choice collection is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional 3/4 in. solid hardwood floors and is proudly made by Bruce in Beverly, West Virginia. Made in a thinner 5/16 in. structure, these floors use approximately 50% less raw material than traditional 3/4 in. solid products giving you the same beautiful, solid hardwood visual and performance with some truly unique advantages compared to 3/4 in. thick options. Unlike most factory-finished hardwood floors which have a bevel along the upper edges and ends of the floor, the Natural Choice 5/16 in. thick solid product from Bruce features a Square-edge, Square-end profile. Unique in the industry from Bruce, this gives you much more of a traditional sand-and-finish or "site-finished" visual with all of the advantages of a heavy-duty, factory-applied finish. And, because these floors come in the low-profile 5/16 in. thick format, they can be installed using either a staple-down or glue-down method and don't dramatically increase the height of your finished floors. In addition, unlike most traditional 3/4 in. solid floors, they can be glued-down directly to concrete subfloors (see Installation Instructions for full details).

The 4"W solid Maple flooring, by Bruce brand, in a shinny cherry finish, was a life saver for our reno. We had to match our existing flooring, and it worked. (However, once installed the finish got damaged by painter's tape, so we ended up sanding the cherry finish off.) The floors natural finish is also lovely with a matte clear seal. Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring pairs lasting durability with the natural look of wood. Many things I love about this flooring: The color gradient is very natural in appearance, and the quality of the laminate itself is thick and durable. The non-damaged planks snapped together and locked in place quite effectively. Installation was reasonably easy after prep by leveling the subfloor, which was not so easy. Installing in a tiny bathroom was challenging only because the cuts needed to be so precise, and there were a LOT of cuts. What I didn't love: The first box of the 2 I bought arrived in essentially unusable condition. The snap tracks were largely broken, cracked, or gouged. Some of the planks arrived with corners completely broken off on both ends, making them entirely unusable. Wayfair did send a replacement at no charge and allowed me to dispose of them rather than box them for shipment back for a return, which I also appreciated. After using the floor for the better part of a year now, I have mixed feelings. The floor is durable, it looks nice; however, the floating floor does expand and contract with temperatures, and I'm not crazy about having to tap the planks back together every season change. . For the price, though, I believe this is a far superior option to many in a similar dollar range. It really does look like a hardwood floor, and I still get compliments when people see it. It's extremely durable, withstanding the rough treatment of 2 teenage boys in their own bathroom... I assure you, they are testing the integrity of the product, and it is passing with flying colors. I would just recommend allowing plenty of time to ensure that your planks can be inspected, additional product can be ordered in case of mishandling in the delivery process, and also to ensure the subfloor is in proper condition for installation..
