The chairs are very comfortable. I just got them, so can’t speak to the longevity that other reviewers address. I had wanted the vintage natural, but purchased the vintage white because the natural was so far back ordered at the time and I wanted something ASAP. For me (on my screen), the white color is more of a cool tone - like faded cardboard - whereas I thought the pictures looked like it was a warmer white. This curved seating unit works well for me on the small balcony of my 1963-era condo. The cushion color is sort of a duck egg, more green than in the photo, and I like it. The fabric dries quickly after a rain. It’s comfy and looks cool. I think if the company makes straight seat units you could extend it into a sectional. However, it was a real challenge to assemble with curved lines needing to be coaxed into alignment, about 30 bolts, and no tool but a tiny Allen wrench. The two seats are held together with only a couple of plastic clips and I don’t know how durable that will be once the grandkids discover it. I had a lovehate relationship with these chairs immediately. I absolutely love the cane back, and I love the black frame, because it offers beautiful contrast. But the white linen was very cheap, very thin, wrinkled almost immediately, and I knew it would be worn out in a month. The matching lumbar pillow was very flimsy and offered absolutely no support, support that would be important in such a deep chair. But I couldnt get over the potential of these chairs. At the behest of a friend, I decided to look into the option of reupholstering the chairs. I thought it would be cost prohibitive. It certainly wasnt cheap, but, all in, they ended up costing about what a custom chair would cost. This way I got what I wanted. I love the fabric that I picked, and I still love the way it looks with the black frame and the Beautiful cane. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions were beyond baffling - leaving out some key details about what direction to insert the bolts from; I’m a veteran furniture assembler and I was extremely frustrated with how long it took and how many times I had to start over because the instructions were confusing or missing key details.
