The Fed Ex Employee expressed his scanner was out of batteries and I could not be issued a receipt, but I did take photos for proof. First, the bed was shoddily pulled together with very cheap wood. So cheap that furniture assembly guy remarked that I should shop elswhere next time. The beds lacked full support for a mattress and a good portion of the wood was discolored if you looked closely. It had at least 50 pieces and 300 nails—I am not joking. Further, the Angi "professional" they matched me with canceled during the arrival window after we had already donated the two beds we were replacing the night before. 10 days between scheduling and arrival, but the appropriate time to update us was the hour of arrival... Angi immediately rescheduled us for 8p on a weeknight. In the age of AI, how is it possible that a bed for children would be recommended to be assembled from 8- 10 p.m. at night? This company uses partners, vendors, and AI in all the wrong ways. I am appreciative of this experience, though, because the kids are old enough not to jump on beds -- it'll last the length of time we need it. From 10 ft away, it even looks respectable. We were under construction of a new house and unfortunately we experienced delays. I had ordered this with the anticipation of allowing plenty of time for delivery, but we experienced additional delays so I had to wait to assemble it. Once we did I was completely surprised to find the color of the upholstery was a hint of a bluegreengray. Needless to say that was not the beige I was expecting. When I reached out they (AI assistant) simply said it was too long so nothing could be done. Unless you are looking for the bluegreen color palette I would NOT recommend this.
