The RSI-Maze 48-gallon (180 liters) Geared Compost Twin Tumbler transforms leftover waste and garden refuse into rich, nutrient-dense compost with next to no effort at all. The strongly reinforced barrel is UV protected and contains multiple air vents to promote aerobic decomposition. The large opening and sliding doors allow for the easy addition of waste and collection of ready compost. A very unique feature is the gear and handles which ensures easier turning of the drum and the geared ratchet will automatically lock rotation in any position (a feature that is not seen in most compost tumblers at this price point and volume). The frame is powder-coated zinc and its open front design allows for easy access for the collection of ready-to-use compost from the barrel with plenty of room for a compost cart or bucket to slide in underneath.

The composter body is made from repurposed High-Density Polyethylene Plastic from imported food barrels. You can be a part of keeping hard-to-break-down plastics from being added to landfills while also adding back valuable nutrients into the ground with compost.

It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. The legs and lid did not. But I'm happy with my little working droid. :) It really was the perfect composter to be R2.. Marcia. Huntsville, AL. Fri Oct 15 2021

The next generation of composting is now available. The Compost Wizard Dual Senior combines some of the greatest features in the tumblers to create a compact tumbler that does it all. With compost tumblers, users are restricted to working with one batch at a time. The dual senior overcomes this drawback by supporting two batches running simultaneously. Each 40-gallon chamber is separated and can compost independently. As with the majority of the tumblers, the dual sensor is manufactured using recycled polyethylene in Lake City, Pennsylvania. This plastic is BPA free and for contact with edibles. Setting up the composter is easy; simply place the composter in a mostly sunny spot (partial shade in hotter climates) and you're done. The composter comes fully assembled. The dual tumbler will take your composting to the next level.
