Very pleased with this composter. It took about 1hr to put together. The instructions were clear and concise. The screws and such were clearly labeled and in separate bags. I’m super excited to have this compost bin. Assembly was straightforward and everything snapped together perfectly. I like the open bottom so that earthworms will have easy access to the compost. The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. Recieved super fast. This was easy to put together. Also, it came with general use instructions. It has 2 sides, barrier in middle. We are new to composting, so I havent started anything in it yet. I bought this as an addition to my tote worm bin as the worms needed to be divided. I have a tote style for a year and wanted to try a tower. The lid does not snap on like the tote top. Whether this is going to be a problem, I don’t know. My tote has 3 coverings: plastic wrap, then paper grocery bag, then cloth held on with 2 types of bands. Just having a lid sitting on bin is the opposite of my other bin. Instructions were unclear and I emailed customer service and never heard back. No idea what or how to use the spigot. Will search you tube. I think this is a good kit with lots of extras that I havent had to use but fun to have to be more expert (temperature gage, ph balance thing).. Mary. Belfast, ME. Very attractive design and outdoor garbage can. Is not, however, the teal color shown on Wayfair website, but a dark hunter green, so don’t order it if you wanted the teal color the way I did.
