We use real wood and screws with plugs in our construction - not MDF, air nails, or Staples. Some minor assembly at home is required; instructions and hardware included. Overall dimensions of 36" W x 10" D x 32" H with three openings that allow for 33"W x 8.5"D x 9.25"H. We do not use highly processed wood, because of this, you can expect knots and minor imperfections that make each piece unique.

VERY cute shelf, VERY difficult to put together. the instructions are heinous. like, if it could be a criminal offense for awful and useless instructions, this bookcase would be a criminal. it took me and another adult TWO HOURS to put together. but in the end it was worth it - it’s actually pretty sturdy and stinkin adorable. it only loses a star for the difficulty in assembly. Took my teenage daughter and I about two hours, but it was her first time putting together furniture, and she was very meticulous (she loved legos as a kid so this was the perfect adult-ish project for her)! It’s helpful to have a regular screwdriver and an electric screwdriver, as a few of the screws were a bit long. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it.
