Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. Looks great! It’s very sturdy. The black looks really nice. Took my husband two hours to put together but he wasn’t rushing. The drawers open smoothly but they do make slight sound as it sort of scrapes along the metal. The drawers don’t have stoppers so COULD fall on toes BUT they’re so deep that I can’t imagine that happening. We do plan to remedy that in some way because it for our 7yo son, but not necessary for older kids or adults. chair opening is very large which makes it nice for widercrossed-legged chairs. Awesome way to incorporate some shelves and we LOVE that it combines as a bedside table for him. He absolutely loves it.. Sachin. Thu Aug 27 2026

Negatives: time to assemble over 2 hours, thin MDF panels. Positives: very affordable desk, has room for a large monitor, a full desktop computer, plenty of accessories, and functional drawers. Other thoughts: I think the panels are thin, but they're holding 120 pounds with my setup and the desk feels solid enough.
