This table is wonderful. It does not look cheap or prefab, easy to put together, light yet sturdy, and I love the colors. I got the pecan, which looks much darker than it does in the photos. I knew this from reviews so was happy when I received it. As also reviewed and in the product description, the top is indeed an off white, like an eggshell color. This works well as the contrast is less stark and medical-looking than if it was pure white. My only criticism, also echoed in reviews, is the top is easy to both mark up and dent. I’ve only had it a few weeks and already has both and I haven’t exactly been abusing it, and I live alone. The marks are quite minimal so I don’t mind but I do wish it were a little more resilient. LOVE this table. I also purchased a square one and a half moon console table. All said, they're quality, REAL WOOD pieces and beautiful. I purchased the walnut color - the box read "Espresso" which matches the console table. The square side table is slightly lighter and is "Walnut" on the box. I am editing my review after a couple of days of use and “sitting” with our purchase. Pros, I like the design element and details of the piping along the front and rear of the table. It gives great movement. I like the fact that the table has large storage space and functionality. I like how large the table is. I don’t care that the table itself doesn’t look or feel like real wood. It looks like particle board and has a hollow sound when you tap the top of it. It also wears fingerprints easily so I am going to have to constantly wipe down the table. That is why I gave 45 stars.
