My husband and I aren't coffee drinkers, but we wanted to get a coffee maker for company. This one fits the bill well. Its compact size makes storage easy, which means one less appliance on the kitchen counter. Operating the machine is intuitive, but if needed, the instruction manual is clear. I had no trouble making a regular cup of coffee as well as iced coffee (since it's so blasted hot outside!). You can use K-cups as well as ground coffee with this machine; it comes with a cartridge for each. The coffee team gs uses the same solid steel conical burrs as found in high-end automatic coffee machines. The slow grinding of the burrs imparts minimal heat, preserving more aroma than blade grinding for a finer, more uniform grind. The coffee team gs lets you program the amount of coffee to grind: choose from 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 cups and select mild, regular, or strong. The coffee filter holder stays inside the machine during grinding, preserving more aromas and reducing mechanical movements. I’m really happy with this espresso machine! I’ve been using it at home and honestly love it. It’s simple to use, heats up pretty quickly, and the coffee comes out really good with a nice crema on top. I also love the steam wand because I can froth my milk and make lattes at home. It took me a little practice to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was pretty easy. Another plus is how nice it looks on my counter. It has a clean, modern look without being too big or taking up a ton of space. It also feels sturdy and well made. So far, I have no complaints. I actually look forward to making my coffee in the morning now instead of buying it out.
