That any pewter of the American colonies has survived is somewhat of a miracle. With no domestic raw material, and forced to send to England for tin at exorbitant cost and unreliable delivery, 17th and 18th century pewterers were restricted to melting worn pieces to cast as new. Despite these trials, fine examples of their craft showcase a quintessential American style resonant to this day. In Liberty, the influence of European forms is undeniable, but it is the unpretentiousness and ease of style that speaks of the character of the New World.

The Bialetti Venus coffee maker has an unmistakable and elegant design. In addition, it guarantees high-quality thanks to the patented safety valve that makes it easy to clean. Best 14 cup coffee maker for rental homes. I have two of them in my large 11 bedroom rental. 28 cups of coffee — enough for all to have first cup together. I have my original one I bought 8 years ago. I had two but tenants put the coffee grinds where the water goes and tried to start it!? So we now have one brand new one!. Deborah. Wakefield, MA. Idk what is going on with the shipping department but seriously it would have been nice to get a box for my coffee pot instead of a bag. I hope the pot works i like it so much fingers if I wanted to give this as a gift the box it beat up and slice marks it could have been damaged and as a gift NO I think I might not order again so fast. Things havent been too good with my last few orders and they had decent boxed but the product had issues. So i cant give what iwould have. Mary Peterson. Menominee, MI. Fri Oct 16 2026
