I love this dining set. It is beautiful. Sitting at it with guests feels comfortable, warm, and cozy. The chairs are well padded. There was a problem with the upholstery on one of the chairs and customer service took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. I am very happy with this set. It took an evening to put together (3 hrs) by myself. I am a 69 yr old lady. The only thing I couldn't do by myself was flip the table upright. This is a very heavy, solid wood set. The finish is darker than the picture, which I am glad. Much more dark cherry/ mahogany color than the orangey tone on the website. I thought the chair seats were black but the seat part is a very deep brown. Looks black from afar. The assembly was easy and the directions were clear. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen.
