Okay, look...this thing is a nice looking item, and actually well made, but the instructions are LITERALLY WRONG AT THE LAST STEP. I'm not an idiot and I put together many things but I had to disassemble parts of it that were pre-put together to make it work. Somebody less handy would have trouble. Still, nice item. I love how classy this podium looks! It is going to be perfect for students at school to use for different occasions and speaking engagements. However, you can see by the photo attached of the hardware that some of the pieces broke during the building process. Also, some of the pieces did not fit together very well. Once the podium was put together completely, it was more sturdy. The podium looks nice and will be functional for elementary school. However, I don’t recommend this purchase for professional use.
