I spent a full days pay on a SH trashcan when I was first starting out on my own. Guess what, though That trashcan sits in my kitchen to this day some 10 years later. So if this laundry hamper is half as amazing as their trashcans are, 150 seems more than reasonable. Regarding the actual product, its sturdy and has a decent capacity. I suspect the removable section will either be used every time I do laundry or never again - time will tell, and Ive only had it in my possession for all of 24 hours. This is not your ordinary laundry hamper. It is made from real bamboo and is such a rich brown color. My husband just loves it. It is very well made, the inner cloth liner fits snugly over thr edge and the band of bamboo holds it on so nicely. You dont even see the cloth liner when the lid is closed. I really like the lid lifting up and it stays up. It is not flimsy at all. It was very easy to put together. I would say 5 minutes is all it took.
