I originally had a 3 tier metal bookcase that I utilized for my collection but as my collection grew the shelf was no longer supplying the space I needed so I chose to check out what Wayfair had and found this China Cabinet and based on the dimensions I knew this would work better and it looked great, received 4 boxes and considering the weight of each box nothing was damaged in shipping, pieces were packaged really well, I was impressed , finally got the ability to assemble the Cabinet and while assembly wasn't entirely all that difficult, it was a bit of a project in itself as the directions on certain parts were hard to decipher, ended up stripping the screws from the lower cabinet doors as the picture showed one way but when followed the doors did not sit the way they should of so I took it apart and with trial and error figured it out, unfortunately the screws were stripped out from the continuous disassemble and reassemble , will require a trip to the hardware store to get longer screws so they snug up properly, assembly considering I started a bit late took about 6 hours to complete, center piece will require a second pair of hands to lift it up and onto the base, some pieces did not line up all that great, but after some slight adjustments everything seemed to go together, once completely assembled minus the cabinet doors, the China Cabinet looks awesome, great color, all in all even though this Cabinet is very pricey, I would recommend it, kinda wish each shelf had a lighting feature but that can be done afterwards, attached a photo as well, granted its 9pm, my collection was kinda put on the shelves till tomorrow where I can focus on setting it up properly.. On the surface, this china cabinet is beautiful. The color is exactly what I was hoping for, and once it’s fully put together, it has a really nice look. The quality is not top tier, but it’s not bad either for the price point. That said, my biggest issue has been the assembly and the lack of support from the manufacturer. Assembly was a bear. It took me about six hours to complete, and there are what feels like 70 screws and nails just for the back panel alone. It’s definitely not a quick or easy project. The biggest problem came at the final step when assembling the pullout drawers. The nails did not align with the pre-drilled holes in the drawers, which made it impossible to complete properly. I reached out to the manufacturer for replacements, and it has now been over 30 days without a resolution. Because of that, I cannot fully complete the cabinet or give a final assessment yet. I also had some difficulty getting the cabinet doors to line up correctly, which added to the frustration. But it was a matter of adjusting the hinge screws (had to Google that to figure out the problem) Overall, the piece has great potential and looks nice, but the assembly process and lack of manufacturer support have been disappointing. I will gladly update this review once I receive the replacement parts and can finish putting everything together. UPDATE all parts have been received and assembled and it looks great.. Kamilah.
