I've had these dishes for over a year and never had a chip or a broken dish. They are pretty sturdy and have stood up to everyday use, regular dishwasher use, and hand washing. Great size, always big enough for whatever we need. Nice dishes for anyone who spends time in a summer garden! This stoneware dinnerware is really nice. I ordered 3 sets, or service for 12. When I received them, a coffee mug in 2 of the sets was broken.
