My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. This coop is super cute!!! However it seems to be pretty low quality. The wood is very soft and several of my pieces arrived already split. You can also use this screen to make crafts. This wire netting is stronger and thicker than other similar product in the market. Our chicken wire fencing is made of anti-rust material with paint baking technology. It is strong and durable, and not easy to break. Other product is 0.6mm thickness. Ours is 1.7mm thickness.

That is the worst product I ever buy. I will have to return it later. 2x2 never work. Plastic connector is bad and not solid. structure is so week. Installation direction is so bad that won't match actual. one part require 10 ft. Direction add dimension M (7')+N(5') that is 12' (not 10 feet). Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult. Also hardware cloth used as ground floor and apron covered with sod and then pine shavings. Placed the heavy duty XL anti-diggers around the perimeter. We have not had any intrusions in this set-up..
