I’ve been searching for a statement piece like this for a long time something that felt substantial, was solid wood, and had a contemporary design without being overly trendy. This sideboard checked all the boxes. It was delivered by Wayfair’s White Glove team and arrived securely packed in a wood crate and fully assembled, which was a huge plus. The quality and craftsmanship are beautiful. The piece appears to be solid walnut, and the carved wave design flows continuously across all four doors, which makes it feel very custom and high-end. Even the back of the cabinet is fully finished in walnut, not particleboard or plywood, so it can be placed where the back may be visible. My only disappointment is the color. The sideboard I received has a strong orange undertone that wasn’t depicted in the online photos, so that was definitely a surprise. I considered returning it because of the color, but ultimately decided to keep it because the quality, craftsmanship, and design outweigh the tone for me. There are parts in the instructions that call for two people, but it turns out one very stubborn petite woman can get the job done great! It is made of MDF with a wide countertop that is water and moisture resistant and features 4 legs and a center support leg that can hold up to 275 pounds. The two drawers feature metal glides for easy maneuverability, and the cabinets below have adjustable shelves on the inside for easy storage of dishes, tablecloths and utensils, and top space for frequently used items and decorative accessories.

I’m very happy with it. It took a bit of time, but I was slow and cautious and deliberate, and I would say it went together quite easily. There are a couple of little white scuff areas that I need to clean up. There is a gap of maybe a half inch between the two doors on the left. Ideally they would meet. It doesn’t bother me too badly because it still looks black. Hopefully the surface will hold up overtime. High quality finish and easy to assemble. This being said, fifth (bottom center) leg is not stable and needs to be straightened by hand any time sideboard is moved. Door pulls extremely poor quality; we replaced with better hardware. Unfortunately holes are pre-drilled and we did not need center mounting hole (there are three). Nice looking piece of furniture. Great piece. Assembly took about 75 dedicated minutes. Some of the screw holes in the particle board threatened to strip, so I feel like I need to be extra careful in moving it (it's fairly heavy, so best to lift it with straps from the bottom, rather than find holds near the top of the unit).
