We love this buffet. We had bought a black one and a white one. The directions are 95 excellent, there were a few challenges, but overall, it wasn’t difficult to put together. The 5 that we caution people on is step 16 and 17 regarding the second phase of putting the drawer slides in. These steps were difficult to understand. You have to bring the pieces to the work area to figure it out. We both were working on a piece at the same time and came across the exact same issue. We enjoy putting items together like this and saving money, but this one took so long, about six hours, (there are 37 steps for assembly) that we agreed it would’ve been better to have Wayfair do it. for the hundred bucks a piece.. This sideboard features casual transitional styling creating a sophisticated, yet understated look. It features generous storage with two full-extension drawers and two doors with adjustable shelves behind each door. The left side-facing drawer is felt-lined and the right side-facing drawer is felt-lined and divided for silver.

This was perfect for me. Redecorating in Victorian gothic and this worked. Each piece and bag of parts were clearly labeled. I only used my power screwdriver to assemble. I did it by myself. The only frustrating part I ran into was aligning the top piece but with some non lady-like words and a few prayers after, it worked out. One thing that would have been a bit helpful is from one step to the next on the instruction graphics, is if the previous used parts were grayed out. Sometimes I had to stare for a minute to figure out what I did and what was new. The cabinet is sturdy. One thing to note is that it seems to pick up all the fingerprints.
