I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. There's a similar cheaper model with slower fan. the only design features we don't like is the extremely wide door, done for cosmetic reasons only. Looks good but you have to step back to swing it open. If installing yourself read the manual on venting, they default to recirculate instead of vent to outside. Found out the hard way. I was in need of a microwave to replace one I had for years and quit on me. At first, I was skeptical because I never knew Faberware made microwaves but it was offered at a fair price so I took a chance. It is more powerful, by surprise, than my old one which was 1000 watts. Even though it is smaller, I can still fit a large plate with room to spare. My only complaint thus far is the popcorn setting. This is the quick set button on top of the panel.
