This product is really nice! Everything seems really sturdy and all the wood pieces fit nicely together, except for one stairs bar which won’t tighten fully and therefore is a little wobbly (I’ll be contacting the seller to hopefully get a replacement piece.) This bed is perfect for my son’s bedroom. He’s able to play underneath and loves climbing up and down the ladder. However, I have had this for a year and a half and the bed loosens overtime which was really nerve racking. Wish it was sturdier and had better materials. Relatively easy install, just took time. Solid construction. There is a metal bar that runs under top bunk, that I purchased pipe foam insulation to cover it as I knew it was just a matter of time before a child hit there head really hard on it. I'm happy with the bunk bed. But my kids are ecstatic. They were celebrating it for like 30 minutes. And the best part is they sleep better now. Putting it together was as difficult as advertised and due to my fitness level, I was sore for days after. The instructions were thorough, though could have been better as some steps could be merged with later ones to make the construction easier to accomplish. And the slats portion could be improved significantly as some were shorter than others. Those steps also didn't convey that the position of each wasn't fixed. So I had to measure the bed frame and put marks down to ensure I did it evenly. I would have expected markings on the frame to indicate where the slats would go.
