The table is heavy mango wood which is one of my favorite pieces and the turned base adds a clean minimalist feel. I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to add one for this table. I was very worried about spending this much on a table and not being able to see it in person first. After a full year of indecision, I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase it. I am so glad I did. This is a beautiful table and exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the table in Moonstone. I have added several pictures in different light so you can see the color. It is a grayish color. Can't wait to get my chairs to finish the room. We were able to sit 11 people around it when it was fully opened. I am sure you could easily squeeze in another if you need 12. I love a round table, makes having a conversion with everyone so much easier. You will not be disappointed. Delivery guys were great and had this together quickly.
