For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

Low-level furniture creates a warm and intimate atmosphere that encourages relaxation and informal socializing or family time, making it ideal for tea, conversation, and activities with children. It saves space, is easy to move, and requires no room for chairs. Sitting on the floor without back support engages your core muscles, helping to improve posture, while also offering a comfortable position for leisure activities such as reading, drawing, or playing board games. Usage Notes: 1. A slight wobble is normal when the dual-panel lift-top coffee table is fully extended, even after structural reinforcement. 2. Always lift to move; do not drag, to protect your floors and prolong the table's life. 3. Slight color variations exist between sunlight/indoor lighting and across different screens. 4. Please verify the dimensions before ordering to ensure the table fits well in your room. 5. To prevent impact noise, guide the lifting mechanism gently and allow it to rise and lower at its own pace.

The table is great. (Note this is the table only - not chairs). Functionality and style for a fraction of the cost. Ive been eyeing the Transformer Table for years but could never pull the trigger. Glad I found this version so that I could see how it works in my space prior to making a bigger investment. Shipping was great (boxes were quite heavy). Assembly was a bit challenged with some screws not being the best quality. There was a small dent but was thankfully on the underside of the table where no one will see. This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . Great Design & Functional Storage. I am actually pretty impressed with this table and here’s why - I really like the oval shape - my dining room is weirdly shaped due to a specific design of the house (it’s not square, it’s not round, it has multiple corners…) so it was a real challenge to find a shape that would fit. The oval shaped table is perfect. I also like the deep, rich espresso/dark walnut wood finish - it instantly became a focal point of the dining room and fits seamlessly with the decor and the rug. The design is very nice too, especially because of the textured, fluted details on the pedestal base - they add this mid-century modern flair which we like. Also, additional storageis super important for us - that’s why the built-in cabinet base with shelves is a massive bonus - arched, fluted glass doors provide excellent storage for dinnerware (or decor) without looking cluttered. The size, however, is a point for debate with my wife - she thinks it will comfortably sit only 4 people because the storage takes space, but I disagree - I think there’s plenty of space for 6 people (someone sitting in front of the glass doors may just need to be more careful not to hit them with their knees or feet…) Overall, I think the table is a perfect blend of style and functionality and is certainly a great addition to our dining room. The assembly was pretty straight forward until I go the the fluted accents. The two around the storage unit were OK to deal with. The one going around the single pedestal base, thouth, was tricky. It's not quite long enough to go around and meet for a seamless connection. There is a gap between the two ends and something to consider when you are putting it together. Plan for a small gap and work to place it inside where it's not easily seen.. Curtis. Fairfax, VA. Sun Jun 28 2026
