I bought 2 ladder bookcases for my son's room. They arrived quickly, although the delivery was a mess, and my husband had them together in a few minutes. Once mounted on the wall I was surprised by how good they look! They hold a surprising amount of my son's prized Lego sets, among other things, and are very sturdy! This turned out really well! I thought I wanted a bronze finish but the black matched my existing accents great. I got two of these with the base bookcase and am very happy with them. I got the walnut with black shelves. The materials are of superb quality. Everything arrived undamaged.
