This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. Genesis Light panels are manufactured from highly durable, lightweight polycarbonate. Each panel is waterproof, washable, and easily cut with scissors or a utility knife, providing a versatile, long-term solution for ceiling grid lighting systems.
