I recently purchased this 62 in fan for a great room. I live in Southwest Hot Florida. This fan has 6 speeds and 3 lighting options. It's perfect. It adds depth, tone, and richness to my room. Actually, a centerpiece to the room, and I need no higher than 3rd speed to cool the whole space down. When it's off, it looks like floating wood and is handcrafted. Great fan for a large room. I have it black side down for the blades. There is a faux wood side in a walnut color. I have a wall switch that turns it on and off. I may add a control for the fan.
