I do like this swing. It was quite easy to put together, just watch as some of the bolts are similar in size. The part I don’t like is the chain placement, I think over time it will indent the arm of the swing. It has started to already as you can see in the one picture. I do like that I can stain this in the future. UPDATE NOW 5 STARS After seeing our pictures and the review, the company reached out to us saying we had the chains on wrong. My new favorite thing to do outside..swing on my new swing! Well made, and not hard for my husband to put together. It did need some sanding, and we will put a finish on it to make sure that it stays nice. There are splits in some of the weight bearing pieces, but my husband assures me that is common with cedar, and won't effect the longevity of the swing. It's also very comfortable, with deep seats.. The swing from Almont Co arrived in 2 boxes ready to be put together. The directions were simple but a little confusing. I also used my own tools to assemble it. It took about 2 hours and it looked good but it would look nicer if the bolts and chain were a brown or bronze. The bare steel really stands out. Overall it’s a nice comfortable swing.
