Very easy to assemble. You will need a helper to attach the arch to the posts. Only one minor issue. Where the bottom hinge attaches to the rail, two adjacent screws conflicted with one another. Remedied by using one shorter screw. Absolutely love this gated arbor and highly recommend it.. Roland. Honesdale, PA. Sun Sep 13 2026

Your garden gate should be more than a door to keep out—it should be an entrance to invite people in. This red cedar gate is exactly that. Its gently swinging doors feature an elegant wide lattice that is simply gorgeous on its own but will support all kinds of vines and flowers to beautify your entrance further. Who knew a pair of closed doors could be so irresistibly inviting?

The Westwood Arbor features a beautiful swoop arch that adds a graceful accent to any yard, garden, or pathway. Lattice side panels and beautiful cedar wood create a welcoming entrance to your outdoor space. The Westwood is crafted from cedar and treated with an environmentally friendly water-based stain. Easy to assemble and install and comes with a 1-year warranty. Tools Required: Cordless Drill, Level, Stool/short Ladder, Shovel, Cement for permanent in-ground installation Approx. Time Commitment: 1 person, 2-3 hours.

The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor. I love the assembly service that Wayfair provided. The handyman was great. He was on timely, proficient and sensitive to my needs.. Judy. Maryland. Sun Aug 09 2026

It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. Otherwise a good buy.. Andrew. Bedford, TX. Wed Aug 05 2026

The Estate Garden Gate Iron Wall Panel brings the stately presence of classic wrought iron gates into the home. Designed with a tall arched profile and symmetrical scroll detailing, this piece creates a strong architectural focal point that adds height, structure, and visual interest to the wall. The design features layered scrollwork, decorative medallion accents, and an arched top that mirrors traditional garden and courtyard gates found in historic estates. Its open iron construction allows light and wall color to show through, preventing the piece from feeling heavy while still delivering a bold, anchored presence. Finished in an aged black tone with antique bronze and subtle verdigris highlights, the surface showcases intentional variations that enhance the character of the metal and give the appearance of naturally weathered iron. This multi-dimensional finish pairs well with traditional, Mediterranean, farmhouse, and transitional interiors. Crafted from metal for durability and designed for indoor display, this wall panel offers the look of custom ironwork in a decorative accent suitable for entryways, hallways, living spaces, and dining rooms where vertical emphasis is desired. Dimensions: 48 in H x 27 in W x 0.5 in D Material: Metal Color: Aged Black with Antique Bronze and Verdigris accents Finish: Antiqued, naturally weathered appearance Orientation: Vertical, arched top Mounting: Wall mounted Style: Traditional, Mediterranean, farmhouse, transitional Use: Indoor decorative wall accent

This has to be one of my favorite décor purchases of all time. I cannot overstate the degree to which this has elevated the back yard. It was relatively easy to assemble. It has survived several storms already. Easy way to make your yard or garden feel elegant.. Kira. Bradenton, FL. Sat Jun 03 2023

The packaging and quality of the cedar is very good. Like Teal, of Pomona, NY stated in their review: it’s a box of wood and bag of hardware and some very simplistic instructions. As a prolific builder and DIYfer I used my experience in assembling the arch. Fortunately, I have a pneumatic brad nailer with galvanized brads which made short time in nailing the many pieces together. I did not follow the slat spacing suggestions from the directions, rather having read the reviews, I made my own jig spacers after careful measurements. Pros: Good quality cedar; Looks excellent when completed; Assembly is straight forward once you figure out the spacing; Left unfinished the cedar will gracefully weather Cons: Directions need embellishment; Not for those wanting a quick assembly; Took over 6 hours to complete; Nails provided are not galvanized and should be of an outside product; Only 2 decorative wooden “arrows”---should be 4 for two on each side; Added longer and beefier exterior screws at the top/side joints for more strength. A working gate has a latch closure. The metal gate frame is finished in black, and the tree design is burnished bronze.

Beautiful gate! I’m still installing it. It’s missing a screw for the latch, so that’s a trip to the hardware store. The posts in the ground are very short so I will need to pour cement for it to be stable. Good price for a Plow and Hearth product. FYI-Their items usually need protective coats against rust.. This garden gate, featuring a perfect combination of strength and elegance, makes an ideal entry point for the fence around your garden or patio.

I bought two gates and they look fabulous.. . Very easy assembling. Just need someone's help to hold the pieces, otherwise any adult can assemble it. Got all the nuts and Allan keys for assembling, but i used another key for easy handling. Be careful when handling it as it is very easy to get scratches. Very nice gate . All my neighbours were so impressive on the designs... There are few bits to highlight for the improvement of the future products. 1) Some parts (Poles) were not finished well as there were some dents (un even surfaces - bit bad finishing) 2) The lock tongue direction is wrong. we usually open the gate to inside and the tongue direction should be the other way round which we cannot simply adjust with rotating the panels, etc, because of the design. 3) Do further more designs, So will have unique design for most customers...
