I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. This is a beautiful natural wood-tone dresser with ash undertones and 9 drawers. I love the rounded corners- they give it a soft, modern look. I have this in my daughter’s room, but it could also work beautifully in a dining room, TV room, or even a large foyer. The instructions were clear, and assembly took about 2 hours. The drawers are a good size- not too deep and not too shallow. They could roll out a little smoother, but it works fine for us. One of the drawers occasionally hits the top part of the dresser when closing, so I have to adjust it a bit, but I think it just needs a minor alignment fix. Was tempted to give this 3 stars, but it’s probably closer to 3.5 so I’ll round up. Overall, I’m very happy with how this dresser looks and the size. It was pretty hard finding something that we liked but also had round corners to make it safe for our 14 month old. There is a lot I wish was different about this dresser though. For one, it took my husband about 4-5hrs to build because it had so many steps and parts (and he is normally good at putting these things together). Second, for how large each drawer looks on the outside, it’s actually much smaller in width and height so you loose a lot more storage than you think (see photos). Lastly, I was expecting soft close drawers because they’re so standard these days. It’s not a smooth close and is actually quite stiff the close at the very end for a full shut.
